The Story behind Why the Rescued Club was created

To be honest, I didn’t grow up loving dogs. In fact, they scared me. No one in my family had pets, and dogs were never a part of my life. That changed when I was a teenager—my partner’s family at the time were dog lovers, and little by little, I started to fall in love with them too.

We used to visit a small town in Colombia where there were countless stray dogs living in heartbreaking conditions. We would feed them whenever we could. A few of the female dogs were pregnant, and after helping to find homes for the puppies, my brother and I decided to adopt one of them: Jacinto.

That’s when I met the first great love of my life.

Jacinto brought me so much happiness. He was with me for 11 beautiful years, and when he passed away, I was devastated—but he left me with a deep love for these four-legged angels. So I made him a promise: that I would help as many animals in need as I could.

Since I met Jacinto, I started volunteering, donating to shelters, rescuing homeless puppies and feeding stray dogs. But when Jacinto left, I fell into a deep depression—until my family surprised me with a beautiful rescued puppy, who’s still by my side today.

Even then, I felt I owed more to Jacinto.

That’s when I met Hannah, a young stray who had never known love. The first five months of her life were spent tied to a post, out in the open, neglected and mistreated. When I heard her story, I decided to foster her until she could heal and find a forever home. In Colombia, rescue organizations get no government support—they survive with scraps, driven only by love and sheer will.

I fostered Hannah for about a year and I found her the best possible family but deep down, I knew I could do more. I wanted to create real impact.

So I started The Rescued Club—a brand with a clear purpose: to create high-quality products that help change lives.
